I once gave a windscreen cleaner a two euro-piece. She ‘accidentally’ dropped it, just inside my driver’s door. I had to open my door to find it for her. What I hadn’t realised was that by opening my driver’s door, I release the boot-lock and two of her ‘team’ then began going through my boot. It was only the driver behind me blasting his horn that alerted me as to what they were doing.
