I never forget what one my old high school teachers told our class. That nicotine is powerful that putting a concentrated amount on the head of pin is enough to kill you. Help me solve a tv cop show once.
Fair Labor Standards Act allows children to work on farms. Unfortunately that includes TOBACCO farms. Children as young as 7 may be hired to pick tobacco during harvest season. Tobacco farms are eligible for subsidies.
Inhaling anything directly into the lungs is not good. Don’t care whether you’re a miner, a firefighter, smelter, smoker, marijuana user, or vape user.
OK, I agree that the manufacturers are guilty for pushing this crap – no different than big tobacco.
However where does the individual user come into play and be blamed for their part? At what point to you stop saying “hey moron, inhaling anything directly into your lungs is stupid. You probably ought to exercise some common sense and not do that.”
Nicotine is the most addictive legal substance, and is still subsidized by taxpayer for tobacco production. Then the nicotine is concentrated in an oil (which seems to be the real vaping problem), making it potentially more dangerous than smoking, even before morons add their own little ingredients. It’s kinda’ like buying your H from a bad dealer stiffing you with fentanyl. Vaporizing pot, the bud btw, is “cleaner” than smoking, and doesn’t load you with oil vapors.
Gary, there’s hope for you. The people behind vaping products are fighting a SF proposition to ban the sale. Their ads are ludicrous. I’m not sure about banning sales, but ads, like cigarettes should be considered.

Capitalism at its finest! What matters isn´t that the smoker will die, but that this gives tobacco companies tons of money.

Come on. Is anyone truly surprised?

It’s called Darwinism, pull support from the idiots and they will kill themselves. Sad but true, humans can be so stupid.

But big tobacco may go for injectable next.
