I’ve suspected for a long time now that Scott is no longer entirely in control of this comic strip. Perhaps he has the final say, editorially, but the artwork is just so different than the other cartoon that appears under his name.
Maybe he’ll retain the law firm of Ives, Cheatem, and Howe and sue. Several years ago a woman was shopping i a furniture store and was knocked down by a unruly child. She sued the store was awarded damages despite the unruly child was her’s
Unfortunately, people who do whatever they want often end up wanting others to pick up the bill for the consequences (rescue, emergency care and financial support for any resultant disability)
