We should note that Erik probably found it during a comparatively warm spell, so he may not have been completely malevolent.

If the president had been successful in obtaining Greenland we hears he wanted to rename it Trumpsylvania!

More lies and propaganda. Buying Greenland isn’t a new idea. The Truman administration considered it too, but because Trump mentioned it, it automatically becomes stupid. Grow up, people! Get some good ideas and sound policies and run on those. That or keep shooting yourselves in the foot and make the Republicans look great by comparison. #WalkAway

Actually it would have been a savvy move. Mineral resources, strategic location. Whether or not the government is autonomous, it is owned by Denmark and could have been sold. People made fun of Seward’s Folly when Alaska was purchased. Not so funny anymore is it?

But if he was truly serious about it, he wouldn’t be blabbing it publicly, it would have been presented as a fait accompli. More likely it is just another distraction offered up to keep the gullible public focused somewhere that doesn’t matter. We are like cats chasing a laser pointer.
