Years ago; I had a good friend/ colleague who was of Mexican heritage. His last name was Ocanas. I used to tease him about being Irish and he would retaliate with a Gringo joke.

I believe in the old days it was O’possom. And, last night our dog (see avatar) chased one through an area known to have poison ivy.
