If you look around, maybe you can find one in an adult size and then pretend that you are a child again. Then you can go outside and play hopscotch on the front sidewalk.
Having spent two and a half years as a children’s librarian, I’ll admit – you get used to it. But, now that I’m downstairs, and working in the adult section, I seem to have lost my tolerance. Nowadays, a whining or screaming child sets my teeth on edge.
Worries me that that could be the reason some people have kids – seeing only the cuteness and not thinking of the future shrieking, or seeing the child as something to dress up, but not someone to raise and nurture. The planet would be better off if most people sublimated their desire for dress-up by playing with dolls instead – not only less overpopulation, but less shrieking, too! :)

I’d have wailed and shrieked too if my mother had tried to dress me up like that.
Church, funerals, weddings, high holidays, but other than that – no way!!!
Certainly not school. That would be slaughter.

I have always maintained that children, like fine wines, should be kept in a cool, dark place until sufficiently mature…probably in their mid-40’s.

That dress will only fit for how long? That must be why people dress up tiny dogs. And have pet monkeys, God forbid.
