Night-Gaunt49, it isn’t that leaves on lawns are ugly; it’s that they will kill the lawn by smothering it if they aren’t raked off of it. That’s why we humans are “messing up Nature,” as you put it – it’s because if we don’t, we won’t have any lawns for the leaves to fertllize.
