You do know that real soon now, there will be a crackdown that puts a minimum of dozens of protestors into a place where they will be less of an annoyance to the Party in charge. And that’ll keep happening until any who are left have learned the “shut up and walk quietly away” lesson. A whole lot more disruptive to a whole lot more people than the weak metaphor that Payne has chosen.
