Sorry for the ill-timed reference to stabbing, given recent news. I drew this comic four years ago, so I obviously didn’t expect this to appear when stabbings were in the news. The incredibly sad thing is that the same thing happened when I originally ran the cartoon in 2015 (back then, it was the Paris attacks). That’s how common this sort of horrible violence has become. :(

Just remember it’s also St. Lucia’s Day. You can spot a Lucia bride by her blonde hair catching on fire from the candles she’s wearing on her head! :)
