Trump is not loyal to U.S. farmers, but only to his master, Vladimir Putin, whose every order he promptly obeys, and never utters a word of criticism or complaint.

The Trump tariffs make U.S. exports LESS desirable to the customers farmers depend on.

The Trump tariffs make Russian exports MORE desirable

China is no longer importing U.S. soybeans or almonds, and Putin is rushing to fill the Chinese demand for these products that used to be met by American farmers so that U.S. agricultural sales that are being lost will never come back.

Trump has pledged $12 billion in aid to compensate farmers for their losses.

Aside from the fact that this is utterly inadequate in relation to actual losses, the payouts are going almost entirely to large industrial, corporate factory farms, not small “mom and pop” family farms who want CUSTOMERS, NOT HANDOUTS.

Once again the REAL agenda of the Russians’ useful idiots: SOCIALISM FOR THE RICH.

What makes less sense is farmers voting for him again.

Half of all voters vote against their own interests. For many reasons, none valid.

    China is boycotting us now.

Are the Republicans going to borrow more money from China to pay our farmers for not growing food?

Another fly over state, Trump supporting farmer exhausted from all that winning. Time to turn Fox (hate & fake) News off and get some real information and think before you vote next time.

If I heard the figure correctly, the Treasury has taken in an additional 27 billion in tariff revenue. It has paid out 28 billion to farmers, et al to try and help them survive.

I wonder how much the non-farmers… such as, congressmen and billionaires, are going to get when they pass out these new subsidies?…..

“Why hasn’t Congress reined in the largess and stopped farm subsidy abuses? Well, our auditors found 12 members of Congress collected up to $637,059 in subsidy payments last year alone.

In fact, members crafting the policies on the agriculture committees are, many times, large recipients of their subsidies. The list includes Reps Doug LaMalfa (CA-1) with $1.3 million, Vicky Hartzler (MO-4) with $20,420, Robert Gibbs (OH-18) with $7,660, and Sens Charles Grassley (IA) with $58,210, and Debra Fischer (NE) with $16,190 (payments between 2015-2017).

This summer, the U.S. House and Senate each passed respective versions of a new farm bill. Not surprisingly, loopholes allow non-farmers — such as congressmen and billionaires — to reap big benefits. It seems that as the two chambers work together to draft final legislation, you’ll want to hold on to your wallet."
