John Ratcliffe (short-lived nominee for Director of National Intelligence) bragged that, as a U.S. Attorney (before becoming Texas congressman), he had put terrorists in prison. A check of his record (vetted by the press, because Trump won’t do it) proved that he had never handled a terrorism case.

Donald Trump is the one putting people behind bars.

Unfortunately, they are babies, some under one year of age.

Protecting Donald Trump’s immediate family is costing American taxpayers millions and his sons’ business travels are quickly racking up the bill.

Mr Trump’s sons Eric and Donald Jr, who run the Trump Organisation, receive Secret Service protection as members of the US President’s immediate family.

The pair arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday for a ceremony to formally open the Trump International Golf Club in Dubai.

It is unclear what additional protections the two sons will receive while in Dubai but experts already have warned the Trump brand abroad now faces a global terror risk and the security bill could reflect that risk.

On Thursday, the Washington Post reported the bill had already surpassed $16,000 (£13,000).

Eric’s visit to Uruguay on a business trip to check on the progress of the Trump Tower in January is said to have cost US taxpayers almost $100,000 (£80,000) to cover his security costs.

Mr Trump said he had stepped back from the management of his business during in term in office and handed it over to his sons and senior executives.

Eric and Donald Jr are expected to continue to travel abroad on business trip for the Trump Organisation and their protection could end up costing millions to US taxpayers.

Trump is in no way “qualified” for the position he holds. Why would ANYONE expect him to examine anyone else’s qualifications?

You have to understand that, in order for ANYONE to “qualify” for a position anywhere in Trump’s administration, that person must, necessarily, fail to meet the ‘standards’ of the job for which he or she was appointed.

Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman bragged of receiving classified US intelligence from Jared Kushner and using it as part of a purge of ‘corrupt’ princes and businessmen, DailyMail can disclose.

The de facto ruler of the Middle East’s largest economy is currently on a US tour which has seen him meet President Donald Trump in the White House, hold talks with a string of the country’s richest and most influential people and book the entire Four Seasons in Beverly Hills for himself and his entourage.

Sources have told DailyMail.com that the prince – known by his initials MBS – has been boasting about his close relationship with the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, and the intelligence which he has told his circle Kushner passed to him.

Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman has been boasting about his close relationship with the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, sources tell DailyMail.

But it saw allegations of torture as hundreds were rounded up, including princes from rival parts of the Saudi royal family and some of the country’s wealthiest businessmen.

The New York Times later reported that one of the detainees had died from his injuries.

Most are said to have reached ‘settlements’ with the Saudi government, and MBS himself boasted in a 60 Minutes interview that the government had regained at least $100 billion from them.

Kushner claimed through his attorney Abbe Lowell that it was a ‘false story’.

Peter Mirijanian, Lowell’s spokesman, said: ‘The alleged exchange never happened. Mr Kushner was and is well aware of the rules governing information and follows those rules.’

Despite Kushner’s denial sources have told DailyMail how MBS boasted in private that Kushner was the source of intelligence used in the round-up.
