Oliphant is depicting the Muslim Brotherhood as nefarious looking (or is that just my impression?)

Are they getting more flak than they deserve? Meh religious organisations get the same short shrift from me reagrdless.

Well, they have their own English language website you can follow current events in Egypt tickertape-like.

By all reports, the MB are pretty moderate guys, a political party not an intolerant mob.

My feeling is that he’ll loot the country and flee to the good ol’ USA for sanctuary, living off his plundered goods for the rest of his life.

So why does the dude in the combat helmet get the look of “innocence”? MB has always called for nonviolence- the distorted press, well like boneheaded Beck, never pay attention to actual histories- like walls and barbed wire in the great “bastion of democracy” with all the nukes and “attitude”.

The Muslim Brotherhood publicly espouses non-violence, but don’t be naive, dtroutma. Oh wait, too late…you probably thought Yasir Arafat was a sincere leader of a disadvantaged people who only wanted to negotiate peace with the Israelis.

The way muslims are drawn in some cartoons reminds me of the way jews were depicted in 19th century cartoons.

    Just saying.

    ^ Just don’t draw Mohammed :-)

The Muslim Brotherhood is depicted as moderate by AOL News and some others. I will have to hear more before I agree with that assessment.

Please, neither side of that fight is innocent. Both have committed atrocities against civilians. VERY few military/militias can claim true innocence on that front.
