Richard's Poor Almanack by Richard Thompson Mother's Day Fund Page It's mom vs gift! Can you match the response with the gift? Careful - these are tricky! Flowers from the Safeway on special. That haircut makes your ears look mis-matched. Dinner at the restaurant where everybody talk so loud. Maybe I can put it up on the shelf next to the other one. Elaborate handmade card. Your sister gave me this hat! Tickets to Speed Racer. Did daddy help you with this? You didn't use my pinking shears, did you? Tiny useless book of mom quotes from the impulse buying area near cash registers at the bookstore. Oh. I wanted to see Iron Man. Gourmet jams & jellies and a wooden rack, $14.95. Your undivided attention. If I open it real carefully, maybe we can save the wrapping paper.
