I recently saw a TV ad that told about the new concept of a “store”, where you could touch the product and where right-now is better than next-day-delivery. (A clever ad, but not clever enough since I don’t remember what it was for.)

Why is Lio shopping for brick and mortar?

I’ve recently gone back to mainly brick-and-mortar. Living in the city helps. I’ve had a few bad experiences with Amazon, and a few local stores with real human beings who are actually helpful.

I’m not sure why you’d shop a giant chain like Home Depot or Walmart, though. Worst of both worlds. All the inconvenience, none of the help.

This isn’t a bad joke, but it’s not very “Lio.”

Mom & Pop stores died when the mall came in. Malls are dying due to the internet. What’s going to kill the internet?
