My big male cat thought I’d finally come to my senses when I was laid up with a broken ankle. He never got so much lap time before or since.
Our late Pekingese, who had a very catlike personality at times, would agree whole heartedly with this.
It matters not how sick I am, I still have to feed, water and medicate the kitties and scoop their boxes. In return, they will not leave my side. I do wish my husband would step up but… at least I don’t get sick often.
