It’s good (relatively) to see one of our political comics taking a swipe at the practice of our Wealthy Elite stashing money outside the country, the country which affords them military protection, freedoms, social stability (for now) and a groveling Congress to do their bidding. GOD FORBID they contribute to the welfare of this country!
There are only a few who fully understand the intricacies of blockchain well enough to implement a secure cryptocurrency and I’m afraid that Zuckerberg’s/FB’s expertise is NOT in data security.
Regarding that last panel, I’ve found NoScript to be very informative. On just this site, it tries to execute scripts from Amazon, Google, Twitter, and various ad or data scooping sites.
I know folks who have made some money off cryptocurrency, but on the whole it is no panacea; it’s less reliable than many other forms of currency, and is also very, very not green considering how much energy is used to sustain Bitcoin, for example.
In addition to all of the above, who in their right mind would trust Mark Zuckerburg with anything more important or more private than a lawn flamingo? Plastic, not ceramic.
Those “tracking pennies” are AKA “cookies” and your browser can (and should) remove them shortly after you move on. There are other ways to track your visits called “finger printing” that are harder to beat, but VPN can help, as well as using different browsers for different purposes (I’m using a Chrome derivative for this post, for instance, but use Firefox for shopping, and Vivaldi when I’m doing web-hosted research)

This is a truly frightening synopsis Brian; Zuckerman scares the bejesus out of me.

Hey, what about all those Quantum-coins I just bought? I was told that they would never lose value, but only seem to.
