I had a hot dog cooker like that, it used mains current to electrocute them. You haven’t really lived until you’ve seen arc over between two dogs create a Nathan’s frankfurter plasma of about 10 million degrees!
They use their service revolver if the want swiss cheese.
I have grilled a sandwich on a sheet metal plate with a welding torch. And in college we used an iron for cheese sandwiches. Whatever works!!!

A taser dos not have enough amp output to cook a sandwich.
