I’d appreciate an outline of the plot. ;-)
If it’s not one thing it’s another
Once again no black layer loaded.
Again with this? What’s wrong with gocomics? At least for me it’s only on Fred Basset, not my others.
Crowd says “Here he is” … “Happy Birthday Fred” …. “Good Old Fred” (and Fred thinks maybe …WTF? I’m 7 yrs older!?!)
And why would ANYBODY IN HIS/HER RIGHT MIND buy a print of THIS?
All right who slipped the mescaline into my coffee!
Or. So this is what happens when humans eat choc-drops.
Did the cartoonist run out of black ink?
Happy Birthday Fred ! Did you get a sausage ?
Fred says, “Still sparkling after all these years”. The email version has the black only.
What on earth is going on? The black outlines have disappeared.
This is the 2nd day in a row in his comic is not fully loading!
here’s today’s strip without color

This is the third day I haven’t been able to see Fred.
I had this problem once, forgot to peal off the protector strip, off the black cartridge :)
I get these in an email and that was in black and white. And here is the color? Now to get them together.
It’s 7:45 pacific, and i’m seeing the comic in B&W.
Hoppy, hoppy, hoppy birthday, Fred !
The B&W is for nostalgia folks! However, his birthday is a week earlier than last year.
“…And we talked about some old times, and we drank ourselves some beers, still crazy after all these years…” —-Paul Simon
First strip was July 8, 1963. Given Go Comics sometimes posts comics a week late this seems about right.
Yes, you ARE still sparkling after all these years. You are my favorite and bring me gentle joy.
Happy Birthday Fred, and many more!
Fred’s and my birthday coincide. Does that mean I get to steal a string of sausages off of the table?
Fred: If you had your birthday in human years. You’d be dead by now. Just kidding. Happy birthday, Fred. May you have many many more. Enjoy!
Happy Birthday Fred.
