TV: And that's the news... Well, most of it. I skipped a couple of stories with words I couldn't pronounce. Garfield: I always wondered about that.

Must have been news about some of the Middle East leaders.
Those words with more than two syllables are hard for me too….
“….Got the Bubble-Headed Beach Blonde that comes on at five, She can tell you about the plane crash with a gleam in her eye…”
Should go over to Frog Applause and learn some big words.
This is true for me, the TV has such a small vocabulary!
Now if only they’d skip judgments they shouldn’t pronounce…
That’s why I get my news online.
Ted Baxter lives!!!
FYI. one of Lio’s “pets” ate Garfield today.
On our local news, they don’t skip the stories with words they can’t pronounce. They just plow right through them, providing a comedic element for those of us in the know.
And we wonder why the weather man can’t give an accurate forecast!
Ian Edmonson, you mean meeteor…uh…meatierologiste…uh…mutter… oh, bleeep! Weatherman!
Hee hee hee - you all are funny.
Nice to tune in to people who are using their sense of humor without degrading anyone (at least not directly, anyway). :-)
I call them fancy words.
I wonder how many years of school that takes.
