Aside from the fact that this strip makes little sense, it appears that Mr. Lester is fine with blood filled back alleys. Once again he hits the height of bad taste.

Lester would not recognize a heart whether it was beating or not. That may be why he is so much in awe of republicans.

Does Mike think a woman’s right to make her own decisions about her health and reproduction rights is a Hollywood thing? What do homeless, illegals and sanctuary cities have to do with abortion? Ah! He’s just trying t see how many talking points he can get into one cartoon.

There are so many negative stereotypes on this comic, I bet you enjoyed creating it!

I’ll believe the Right is pro-life when they start including funding for prenatal and pediatric care in their anti-choice legislation. When they fully fund childhood nutrition programs. When the clinic protesters start laying down in front of the private practices or private jets taking the rich wives, daughters, and mistresses to hidden facilities for their D&C’s (abortions). When they fully fund contraception programs that avoid the need for the great majority of elective abortions. When they stop telling lies about contraception being the same as murder when most types PREVENT fertilization in the first place (thereby contravening the Will of God!!). Until then it is just a bunch of quasi-religious patriarch zealots demanding the right to control women who they see as defying God (and men) by murdering innocent souls that He lovingly placed (including rape) in those wombs. It’s just the girls’ rotten luck that they were born with a womb instead of a penis. And nobody, NOBODY, suggests that it is okay to terminate a viable baby that has survived birth.

Mr. Lester no longer surprises me with his ridiculous cartoons any more than the DagNabbits who support him do.

The waitress should have been barefoot and pregnant and working for minimum wage to fit into Mr. Lester’s world.

It’s kind of hard to understand the anti-abortion agenda when the blacks and Hispanics which the right seem to disfavor have a higher fertility rate than whites. Are they trying to hasten the whites becoming a minority? Shamefully, one in ten of the homeless are veterans and nothing is being done to change that. If we had a functioning Congress that put ideology aside, we could have a viable immigration policy, but that would require compromise, cooperation, and honoring their oath of office. Hollywood and sanctuary cities are merely reflections of what the majority — not an extreme minority — actually want … not hard to understand.

Mike I usually “get” what you are trying to convey in your ‘toons- I don’t agree but I see what you are trying to say- however I am not clear why the “homeless”, “sanctuary cities”, and “illegal aliens” are at the table when the subject seems like it should be abortion. Now I certainly don’t pay as much attention to Hollywood as you do so if they have been making some connection to all those things guess its more of an inside ’toon for you and the other cultists.

And what’s with the “poop filled streets”? What does that have to do with abortion rights?

Lyin’ Mike Lester is at it again. The “poop-filled streets” thing is a right-wing trope used to deride Nancy Pelosi over San Francisco’s quite severe homelessness problem. Lester here is showing off his expert knowledge of geography, saying that Hollywood is part of San Francisco, even though they’re so distant that you could drop the whole state of Georgia between them and still leave room for Delaware to lie down.

What Lester should really be worried about is his own poop-filled soul.

I am bowled over by the compassion and basic kindness Lester feels for those less fortunate. Never mind the abortion debate. He obviously feels contempt for refugees and homeless. Karma cannot come soon enough to this appalling excuse for a human being

“Unlimited abortion” is a lie just like “heartbeat bills” are. Only 1.3% of abortions are 21 weeks or later. Once viability is reached (23 – 24 weeks) abortions are limited to save the life / health of the woman or due to fetal abnormalities. There isn’t a heartbeat at 6 weeks, because there isn’t a heart. Per Ted Anderson, president of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, “What is interpreted as a heartbeat in these bills is actually electrically induced flickering of a portion of the fetal tissue that will become the heart as the embryo develops,”

If you have to lie, then you really don’t have a point.

When I was in elementary school (pre Roe v Wade) two of my classmates had older sisters that died from “appendix complications”. Even though I was only about 10 – 11, I heard the whispering that these were really botched abortions, even though I didn’t understand what that meant at that time.

Just learned that one of my friends had an abortion because she got pregnant right after her first child was born. Some states would have wanted to execute her. I find it horrible that she never talked about this even though I have known her for 20 years.

If a woman having an abortion is to be considered a murderer, shouldn’t the people who forced her to have a back-alley abortion that killed her be considered ones a well?

If the fetus can not survive detached from their mother then it should be the mother’s decision alone. Hopefully she would consider the father’s wishes as well, but ultimately its her body so it should be her choice. And while I personally believe abortion is wrong, I definitely feel its a personal decision for the woman.

Mike Lester is a man in obvious intellectual, spiritual and emotional crisis.

Not one thing in the cartoon that reflects reality. Except maybe that Hollywood actors do seem to have a larger audience than many of the rest of us.

Looks like Mike is on a tear here. One gets the impression that only the Homeless, Illegal Aliens and People in Sanctuary Cities actually seek abortions? Guess the Rich and well to do don’t seek such services? Really, Mike?

What amazes, yet saddens me, is the lack of grasp of the obvious on almost everyone’s part.

If you don’t want to get pregnant, don’t have sex. Even protected sex can result in a pregnancy if the method used fails.

It’s literally a no brainer. No hanky panky, no pregnancy, no need for an abortion of any kind.

If women are in charge of their bodies, then they can avoid pregnancy by not having sex. Oh, and guys can avoid fatherhood by keeping it in their pants.

Just say “No!”

(I am aware the this doesn’t help in cases of rape or incest, but it’s not the baby’s fault if pregnancy results from those acts. Though it’s my understanding that most abortions are not related to rape or incest.

I also firmly believe that any man who forces himself on a woman for sex should be executed for the crime. No mercy, not life in prison, but death. The sword of punishment is a wonderful deterrent. )

Is Hollywood to blame for the table mates? Illegal Aliens and Homeless?

Georgia, 39th in education achievement. 33rd by Income 49th in Civil rights for women. (They can still look down on Alabama)

The film industry will go bring more money into California’s coffers, and Lester thinks this is Good for the People of Georgia.

This is tasteless and shows a lack of empathy and knowledge that I have come to expect from lester. At least he didn’t disappoint. Nice of a man to have an opinion about something HE WILL NEVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH. Jerk.
