This looks like a horror tale, but it actually is a tale of tragedy.

Birdie the bird lived in that birdhouse with his wife. They were a couple of lovebirds. They led a happy life and laid may eggs, and soon had a lot of cute little birdlings. They were such a cute and happy family…. until one big fat orange cat came along.

He was big and fat, but the orange cat was smarter than the average cat. With his trickery and cunning, he first ate Birdie’s kids, and then ate his wife. Birdie’s whole family was killed and eaten by this big fat orange cat. Birdie, angry, bitter, and frustrated, swore revenge on the cat. Birdie planned to attack the cat on nightfall.

But, the cat was too smart for Birdie, and he killed and ate Birdie too. Today, Birdie’s old birdhouse is still haunted by the unsettled souls of Birdie and his family, for their souls never rested in peace, as they still want their revenge against that big fat orange cat.

There was a “haunted” house kittycorner behind ours. We children always believed that where the man who killed Lincoln lived. We were wrong. It was the man who killed Garfield.

Note his bird is pointing with it’s wing. It’s a metaphor for evolution.
