I heard a news account, on NPR, which recounted a tale of a Chinese woman, under 30 years of age, who got in really hot water with the Chinese government because she allowed a paid advertisement commemorating the Tiananmen Square slain, in a veiled and oblique reference to the date.
She allowed the ad because the date meant nothing at all to her – she had never been educated about the incident by anybody.

Good thing China can’t stop others from remembering/talking about Tiananmen

Isn’t that the technique that Trump has been using for years?
