I personally don’t care, but just to save everyone else the trouble, and so we don’t have to read it a dozen times as if it were the first, “figuratively”.
Betsy DeVos, the Secretary of Education, is much in the mold of the other cabinet officials in that she was the one person in America most determined to destroy the agency she’s now in charge of. Apparently “drain the swamp” wasn’t referring to lobbyists and influence peddlers (as so many people believed) but rather to dedicated professionals working in service to the public.
