It sounds like it has been the other way around – what with Tiny backing out of an agreement with Iran and many other countries that was keeping Iran from developing nuclear weapons – and then Tiny has continued jerking their chain. Cartoon is backwards, but then again it is Ramirez.
Ramirez seems surprised that after Trump pulled us out of the nuclear deal to score points with his base and to spite Obama that Iran wants to restart its nuclear program. Go figure.

FAUXTUS pulled out because he either couldn’t understand it (probably) or thought it made his base angry (also probably). And “Muslim” of course. Now, if we attack, which seems all too probable to me, the world will little note nor long remember what BS reasons we will claim. Rather, we’ll look like the bullies we are, and likely end up screwing up even worse/more our relations with saner nations.

@JohnCzep Close, but the Russian’s (i.e. Putin’s) interest is more in destabilizing America, economically and militarily, and sowing political divisiveness. Another, off the books, middle eastern war will go a long way to accomplishing that.
