It’s pretty easy to teach a pet (or kid) the wrong lesson. Old joke: a guy is telling his friend “my dog poops on the floor sometimes when I’m out. When I get home I swat him with a newspaper and toss him out the window. Now, when I come home, he poops and jumps out the window.”
