Well, that took an unexpected turn.

It’s time to can the phone calls, Red!

Sure, call it a tin but now you’ve killed the joke!

This sure is a tin-ted joke.

Red is the most polite prank caller.

annoying back in the day, but still better than the telemarketers, scams, and robos of today.

OMG….I was just talking to my wife about this

Red, you’re better than that.

We use to call the Bean family and ask if Lima was there. Imagine our surprise when they said no but String is home.

But he’s not ready to come out of the can yet. Someone mixed prune juice into his bowl of beans.

Go out and play with Rover, Red! The phone is not your thing!

I like the way all the people he calls ignore the joke and engage him in conversation! A great way to squash the desire to prank. And he’s learning that these are real people at the end of the phone. Something trolls could learn today …

Ok, I tried that back in the day & people are so weird! A few fell for it but most just hung up o you.

He’d done better if he said tin can, but that’s generational. Prince Albert was Queen Victoria’s husband.

I wonder if his refrigerator is still running…
