Too sad to like.

The NRA, yet again, has blood on its hands. Regardless of whether the NRA itself or any of its members commits these atrocities and hate crimes, they are the ones who bribe legislators to pay them off to make sure they never enact any common sense gun safety oversight that would prevent any TERRORIST, CONVICTED VIOLENT FELON, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ABUSER or someone so MENTALLY INCAPACITATED they qualify for MENTAL DISABILITY Social Security benefits that have to be administered through a conservator (the Obama era standard) from being able to order online or walk into any gun show (not in a state that enacts state laws) and walk out with unlimited numbers of any kinds of weapons with unlimited ammunition and high capacity magazines that they bought from a private party.

And as to suspected terrorists and the mentally ill, they won’t even allow those to be included on the background checks required from licensed dealers (who have a competitive disadvantage because these Russian puppets create barriers for capitalist entrepreneurs).

And now the Attorney General of the state of New York, Letitia James, has opened investigations into the tax exempt status of the NRA, after its political activity and crimes of money laundering of THRITY MILLION DOLLARS of illegal Russian campaign contributions to the Trump campaign.

What a despicable group of greedy treasonists scum! Congress included, because they are complicit to all the NRA actions and take bribe money so gun laws don’t change. American Govt is so corrupt, politicians don’t work to represent WE the PEOPLE, they work to represent themselves!

The main difference between the NRA and other International Terrorist Groups? The NRA owns more congresscritters!

Religious strife is a given.. so it does not count.

Gun control — For some of us, it comes down to lethality. When someone with a desire to kill pulls a trigger, how fast and how many people die? How many people have serious injuries? Here are two examples: In 1959, Charles Starkweather killed 10 people over a period of 8 days. In October, 2017, Stephen Paddock killed 58 people and wounded 422, and the ensuing panic brought the injury total to 851. My understanding is that civilian ownership of high rate of fire guns is restricted / prohibited in most major nations. Here in the US … periodically and, increasingly people die, rapidly. Given the increasing rate of shooter incidents, I support efforts to develop and pass prudent restrictions on private gun ownership. (Full disclosure: I own guns. I expect to keep them and I am not worrying about “them” coming to take my guns away.)

I do think this unfairly suggests that most NRA members like that there are mass shootings. As I recall it, most of them support the idea of background checks and abhor the killing… They just don’t see that their monomania is part of the problem.

Don’t forget the Libertarians in the Republican party who are very cold hearted. They simply blame us for not opening up gun ownership free-for-all.
