There used to be a candy store in Pueblo, CO called Sambo’s. I don’t know if it is still there, but they had a lime aid soda that was to die for. Lived four blocks from it when I was 4 YO. I would walk to it get my lime aid and several penny candies and return home. I did this unsupervised. Today I could not fathom letting my 4 YO make the same trip.Just looked it up, it is now called Taffy’s.
