See the note on the bottom? “Spaniels”?? Anyway, it sure won’t be destroyed by Golden Retrievers. Maybe Siamese cats, though… I’ve had both and my money’s on the cats. And lots of stuff going on in the last panel. Strange weapons, a pocket protector…what else?
I grew up during the 1950s. Imagine, what it was like, learning about sex, only to expect a nuclear war to break out at any minute and destroy everything, before you are mature enough to get any.
I for one would welcome our Spaniel overlords, provided they got along with my two cats and didn’t insist on having balls thrown for them for hours on end.
Maybe the cats could help. One cat’s version of “fetch” is: “Ray throws it, I grab it and take it to a far corner, and Ray goes and picks it up and throws it again, and… until he gets tired and gives up.”
