Teresa - we only had that one night in Marakesh (this was way before you, nighthawks), and it was a long time ago, but I remember your face like it was yesterday.

C603 is you. Well, okay, it’s you without the intellect, the sophistication, and the air of educated self-confidence, but it’s you. Well, okay, it’s really not you at all.

On second thought, go with C-714 (row 4, no. 1). Pull it back a little, put on a pair of reading glasses, rest a pencil on your ear, and the world will be your oyster.

Except you really shouldn’t eat oysters. Not raw ones, anyway.* Unless of course you LIKE unpleasant digestive tract surprises. Now I had char broiled oysters at Drago’s in NOLA last week, but of course they were cooked. And an oyster Po-Boy at Pascal’s Manale, but it was cooked too. (sry if this is painful for you, MisngNOLA).

* Confession from the Department of Do As I Say Not What I Do: I also had a dozen raw oysters at Felix’s.

For the longest time I thought that James Bond could have been modeled after my life. That is until I discovered that he preferred his martinis shaken, not stirred.

Seems Teresa likes the “Land of the Big Hair” look!!

I woulda thought she would go with C-702 (row 1, col 2), but what do I know?

I prefer my martinis gently jostled…then shoved violently to the side.

Hoopoes are charming in person (I saw them on a trip to South Africa many years ago). That’s a wonderful photo.

Not as poignant and lovely as the one of young Christina, though. Poor thing. What a loss for us all.

I expect the blog to make me laugh out loud and occasionally to squick me out, but I did not expect it to bring me to tears. Twice in one day’s postings.
