Those people who think teachers are overpaid don’t realize how much of a teacher’s life is spent doing teacher work.

I think that bathrobe matches his shirts, and Michael’s. Must have been a big sale on green checked cloth.

I remember my mom working on lesson plans, grading papers, getting supplies together for class projects, etc,, for her 5th grade classes. I used to help her grade papers – would have worked out well for me if I hadn’t had to move. The school was going to skip me from 3rd to 5th grade, but my mom said it would be better to skip me from 4th to 6th, as I had already been reviewing/doing 5th grade work for 3 years (1st-3rd grade), but we moved when I was in 4th, so I had to do 5th grade anyway (my dad was in the army). Sigh. I would have gone from being the oldest in my class to one of the youngest, but still not THAT much younger. Every now and then I wonder what my life would have been like if I had skipped a grade.
