Only “Great” Nations feel a free press is an “enemy of the people.” Only a “Great” Nation feels the rule of law does not apply to certain privileged individuals. Only a “Great” nation feels that starvation, poverty, and disenfranchisement are the “natural order of things.” Only a “Great” nation feels certain citizens are less worthy than others due to sex or skin pigmentation. So under those criteria, we are a truly “Great” Nation. (/s)

Arguably a horrible arc, but the last two days have pretty much redeemed it!
Also, it’s been a while, but part of the fun of this strip is when Scott allows Winslow (the Democrats) have the upper hand!
