There was an actual case where a man showed up at a Bank one day, dressed in an expensive 3 piece suit, introduced himself as an Auditor from the Bank’s accounting firm, spent several hours “Auditing” everything from the Tellers to the Managers, then went to lunch, saying he’d be back in an hour.
It was only after he’d been gone for Two Hours that they began to worry and discovered that their Accountants had never heard of him and that, at some point, he’d filled his briefcase with Hundred Dollar Bills before leaving for “Lunch”.
He was Never caught. That “Good Suit” was a really wonderful investment.
