Even considering graphic novels as books, I still choose to read a book. They are more fun than graphics because I imagine the things I read.

Given that the “diorama” is nothing but three ghosts and gives NO idea of the book’s plot or characters – C- is exceedingly generous.

She got her teacher to consider graphic novels and he didn’t flunk her, tho’ a C- is as low as you can get before entering what we lil devils called “Dunce Town” with what we tho’t was a great deal of ingenuity and hilarity.

Panel 3 reminds me of the end of “Happy New Year, Charlie Brown,” where he had to do a book report on “War and Peace”.

When I was in school back in the "60"s they were called “Classics Illustrated”. Got some good book reports out of them at the last minute.

Mr. Burgess should start with “Maus” and “Persepolis”, two of the best ever.

    C- is > a D. I’d call this a win.
