I think the cone needs to be placed around his hands, too.
Joe Biden is a good man with a good heart and sincerely cares about people. He is no Donald Trump and the women who have come forward, while objecting that Biden made them feel uncomfortable, did not feel sexually assaulted in the same way that ALL of Trump’s many victims have.
He is a good man and well intended, but he is too touchy-feely.
No one has the right to touch another person or invade their personal space unless it has been clearly welcomed and invited.
Please, can’t we have some new blood? Not that Biden and Sanders don’t have lots to offer, but I just don’t see either one winning nationally – AND WE NEED SOME NEW, PREFERABLY MODERATE THINKING IF WE WANT TO WIN IN 2020!!! (IMHO)
Bodily autonomy doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with sexual harassment. As I see it, there’s a huge difference between friendly huggers like Biden & grabby-hands creeps like the -resident, & I’m sad to see Joe get caught up in the hysteria. But in the interest of understanding, I think it’s time for a bit more reserve on everyone’s part.
As a naturally reserved, very NON-touchy-feely woman who doesn’t even like to shake hands, I’ve never been shy about telling “space invaders” including random friendly huggers (are you listening, church ladies?) to back off. I wish more non-huggers of all genders would do the same. I’ve found that most people, including some pretty “piggy” types, don’t have to be told twice.
At the same time, we shouldn’t have to be constantly on guard to police our personal space & sometimes end up having to tell people off. Huggers need to learn to read the signals – extending a hand to arm’s length to shake, a polite nod, even a step back as occasionally happens when I’m really uncomfortable around someone – & curb their enthusiasm.
C’maaan, this Biden would-be scandal is a whole lot of ado about very little. As far as I know, the noble ideal of “The greater the offender, the greater the offense” has never been honored in this country, either socially or in the media. What Biden has been reproached with is realistically something more or less welcomed by some women, more or less resented by some, and regarded with indifference by the great majority. The male arm-grabbing analogy is apt (though the proportions making up the three categories are probably different).
But really, if the amount of attention this matter has gotten in editorial cartoons is an accurate measure, Biden’s indiscretion has pretty much blown everything else off the front page (always excepting bloody events involving women and children).

This is a better comic that most conservative cartoonist’s slant on this topic.
Nevertheless, it still only serves to remind me of the ACTUAL dog in the white house.

Funny but let’s face facts. Ask women if they’d rather be locked in a room alone with Biden or trump and “Creepy Joe” isn’t quite so creepy, is he?

Should just grab them by their kitty and then brag about it. You could be President.

It’s just too funny this Kavanaugh ‘me too’ karmic backlash to the Dems, which ruined their own candidate’s chances.

If you make Biden look bad enough he may qualify to run for President Of The United States,

Biden’s hands and arms need a little restraint as well. It’s not for nothing that some ladies call him “The Octopus”.

Time to quit kicking Joe Biden and start impeaching Donald Trump.

Given the European greeting that now seems “normal”.. pretend cheek kissing and hugs.. Joe’s actions are pretty tame.
