Why would Steve Kelley think that Adam Schiff would need to use the paddles of electric shock defibrillators on a patient that is nowhere near dead?
Neither the House intelligence or oversight committees have seen the full Mueller report and all supporting evidence, so we have not had any chance to evaluate its contents. All we have is a four-page summary from William Barr — Biased Barr — who had previously expressed bias against the Mueller report before being selected as Attorney General (which is why he was selected).
Previously Barr had been hired by George H.W. Bush to make the Iran Contra scandal go away. Barr’s specialty is covering up Republican scandals. It’s what he does. It is why George H.W. hired him to cover up Iran Contra; it is why Trump hired him to cover up the Mueller report.
And between the time Barr was nominated and the time he was confirmed, Barr’s son-in-law landed a job advising Trump on “legal issues.”
I would like to see the whole report. I’d like to see, for instance, what Mueller has to say about Don Jr.‘s reaction to the prospect of getting dirt on Clinton. That sure looked like a willingness to conspire, even if the deal fell through. If that’s what happened. Did Mueller interview Don Jr.? If not, why not? When did Don Sr. know about the Trump Tower meeting, and how much did he know? I assume the answers are in the report. I hope they won’t be redacted.
If..and it’s a big if.. the Mueller report sees the light of day.. and another perhaps.. Mueller was not in the tank with the trump team.. There will be a lot of pundits and cartoonist eating crow.
More applicable: Prez. Thugga-slug shouting ‘National Emergency’ while trying to resucitate congressional support for his border wall. Or the prez. pulling the plug on a sickly body labelled Affordable Care in a hospital bed. Or prez. concern for racial/religous justice. Or…the list goes on.
Boy, the chuds sure are in a hurry to bury that report. You know, the one that even Baghdad Barr’s summary of says it “does not exonerate” Trump. I wonder why…
Not that it matters, since the Trump cultists in the Senate would never do anything to harm their orange albatross, no matter what crimes he committed.
Seems that Kelley is “OK” with the Trump organization’s many contacts with various Russian agents. Seems that corruption is “OK” if you are a “Conservative.” [ Note that I did not say “Republican” — It is now that Party of Trump! ]
[ Perhaps Kelley is hoping to get an all-expense-paid stay at the Trump Tower Moscow. ]
Yeah, lets go ahead and call the time of death without even taking a pulse. That’s what it says to do in the Republican guide to Healthcare. I’m sure it’s the best thing to do in this situation, too.

Purely coincidental, I’m sure.

I guess it doesn’t matter to Kelly and his ilk that the Rump is totally corrupt, incompetent, and easily manipulated by his vanity.

Collusion with Russian oligarchs does not count because there is absolutely no connection between Putin and any Russian oligarchs.

Collusion is not a crime. Conspiracy is. Conspiracy is what Mueller specifically did NOT exonerate Trump for.

The GOP dance of obstruction, destruction, and misdirection isn’t going to help them in 2020.

Only 29% of Americans Believe Bill Barr. That means that 28 % of Trump Voters think Bill Bar is lying to them.

Why would Steve Kelley show up both the comics and political cartoon sections? Oh ,and I tried to give DD a like in both but it would not accept them.

I keep hoping for a cogent cartoon from one of the right wingers. And it does happen. Rarely. Not this time, for sure.

There’s worse out there to come that IS fully criminal, and quite a lot of it. There’s a reason so many are already indicted, confessed, or convicted.
