The best thing that could happen to that kid, is to get traded. Maybe he’ll be able to reach his full potential with another team? Sure won’t happen in Arizona.
He wouldn’t be the first first round QB to get the bum’s rush because his team saw something newer and shinier (Cleveland spent a decade doing that after Tim Couch washed out). He won’t be the last. At the very least, he’ll have a fat wallet to cushion his fall.

Arizona i.e. St. Louis Cardinals have always had a history of questionable draft picks. I think the Miami Dolphins have decided to follow their model.
