The conservative Supreme Court is studying the double jeopardy laws, which means that if Mueller had found any Trump family member indictable, they could be cleared of any sentence with a Presidential pardon. By not indicting anyone else, the State can bring charges and sentence those found guilty….. double jeopardy won’t apply.
Just as the Klan of Trump projects their criminal activities onto the left, it looks like they project their premature celebrations as well. Because the only people I see partying are chuds, solely because there were no recommendations of further indictments (because the DOJ rules won’t allow indicting a sitting prez), and no charges of “collusion” (because “collusion” is not an actual crime, but a general term).
I am appalled at all Trump and his family get away with, the influence peddling and money making. However, I think Lester did a good job of showing how much was expected when the Mueller report came out, and how much disappointment there will be now. Mueller dealt with complexities, and there are many. So many people were hoping for a clear, simple way of holding Trump accountable for the many horrible and, I am sure illegal, things he is doing and has done.
Is the joke that the people who took part in the Muller report found a trans person attractive*? Is the joke that the person in the cake is a trans woman who passes? Is the trans woman supposed to be a metaphor for something that the report missed and is going to catch them off guard later? This whole comic is just a mess.
*I’m assuming that’s what “That’s a dude” is supposed to mean.
