    The Democratic Party, for all their post 2018 election fire and zeal, appear unable to even approach any internal consensus on direction; just oodles of would-bes trumpeting their personal ambitions. But it’s early yet, and the party will likely avoid the path to self-destruction it seems to be on at the moment, if only because they all so fervently hate Trump, who is a brassy and brash salesman, and who did Not create division and conflict – he instead recognized and tapped into a large reservoir of heartland disagreement with Liberal / Progressive political and cultural ideology, and successfully rode that populist resistance to the White House.
