Favorite story: One place I worked, they had a Separate network for anyone who “Needed” to browse the internet. And, anyone who wanted to Use that network had to provide their Own computer to do so. You could be Fired for plugging that Personal Computer into the Internal network. Or, for using the Company computer to browse the internet.
For people who didn’t want to bering in a Personal computer, they had a small conference room with a dozen Internet computers available to anyone who wanted to use them. Very few people did because, except when they did the monthly Virus Purge, they were godawful Slow. Each month, the network people would report the Virus Count on those computers. It was Never less than 100 pieces of Malware and Keyloggers on each computer.
