There clearly issomething systemic wrong with the 737 max 8, and Trump’s shutdown helped delay clearance for a software change that may or may not be directly related. Not sure what Ramirez is reaching for here with the Hal reference, but grounding the fleet while it gets figured out was the right thing to do.
