It’s sad that STILL TODAY there are some people that think that ONLY Old, White, Straight, Rich, Conservative “Christian” Males should be allowed to vote!
I have NEVER understood How a person would vote determines, in any way, WHETHER a person should “be allowed” to vote!
THE ONLY qualification required for you to vote is your citizenship and that is determined, in large part, by the answer to the question, “Were you born or nationalized here?” No other qualification is required to “vote” in the United States, the constant and pathetic attempts of the Republicans, to disenfranchise certain “classes of voters” which they deem "unlikely to vote, properly, meaning they might vote for the Democrat.
Oh, it’s time, once again, to correct a stupidity upon which Republicans seem uneducable.
My political party is the “Democratic Party”, not the “Democrat Party”! That is how it’s registered in ALL 50 STATES! To call it the “Democrat” party exhibits a level of ignorance that should only be evidenced by very small children.
And, yes, I know the ridiculous ‘nightmare’ in the Oval Office has delivered a diatribe stating the reverse – but he’s completely wrong on this – which should surprise no one!
Also, I am NOT suggesting for a moment that any specific individual visiting this editorial cartoon’s “comments” page would commit such a blunder. For the most part, this cartoon is far too ‘sophisticated’ for the average Trump supporter so they seldom are in evidence. I just wanted to get this off my chest. A “primal scream” in print, so to speak.
