If only the Republicans would do that to their members who regularly spew anti-Semitic insults AND anti-Islamic insults. Oh, and anti-Lantinx insults as well.
How is pointing out the questionable actions of a political influence peddling organization and the politicians that are beholden to them anti-Semitic?
Puh-leeze. It is possible to criticize Netanyahu and the harsh policies of Palestinian cruelty that have closer resemblance to Adolf Hitler than David Ben-Gurion or Golda Meir.
Many Jews, in both the U.S. and Israel, are very critical of Netanyahu and many of the same have been supportive of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s comments.
And seriously, it is DEMOCRATS who are anti-Semitic? Republicans are now the party literally endorsed by the neo-Nazis and white nationalists who are totally open about their anti-Semitism, as well as the KKKONfederate flag-wavers who are also anti-Semitic. The Pittsburgh synagogue gun massacre was committed by a hard right-wing Trump supporter.
And the final consensus resolution condemning ALL hate speech, whether anti-semitic, Islamophobic, racist, homophobic, whatever, without singling anyone out, was supported by EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT. In contrast, 23 — TWENTY THREE! — RepubliCONs actually went on record voting AGAINST CONDEMNING HATE SPEECH. RepubliCONs literally voted in favor of hate! (And a 24th, Steve King, already under fire, was too cowardly to vote his real feelings, but also could not bring himself to condemn hate, so voted “present.”)
But sure, Steve Kelley. It’s the Democrats. Thanks, Obama!
Another trump disciple that did not hear or read what she actually said. The right-wing cartoonist received their marching orders/lies. Whom do they get their orders/lies from?
Using accusations of anti-Semitic to deflect criticism of war crimes, land grabs, and implementing apartheid as a government policy, has great risk of diluting it’s use by entities like the Jewish Anti-Defamation league. It’s on par with saying opposition to Trump’s administration is Anti-American.
If you don’t get any mileage from what she actually said (she opposes the particular government’s Palestine policy), then just make up something that you pretend she said and attack that. This isn’t a misunderstanding, this is a flat out lying attack. And I’m pretty tired of it. Can the Ridiculous Right find something else to whinge about for awhile? Hillary maybe?

Kelley is nothing if not ‘fair and balanced’ … Remember his toons about Rep. Steve King and Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith?"

According to Snopes the most controversial statement made by Omar was a malicious falsehood by Islamaphobes.

Telling the truth isn’t anti-Semitic, but when the government lies, the truth becomes a traitor.
