OK I’ll bite at the big-lie bait. Open invitation to any & all, Republicans & Trumpsters — Independents & Democrats — Anti-Defamation League members & the unaffiliated:

Leave us see some specific examples. If there is anything to this base accusation let’s have out with it.

Simple minded propaganda projection at its obvious worst by the political party that openly & proudly embraces the notion of a white christian male dominated America.

23 Republicans voted against a bill that covered anti-Semitism, anti-Muslim, anti-racist rhetoric. Many of them in the list have made several hateful statements but they toe the AIPAC line so they only want to talk about anti-Semitic talk. Omar did NOT make anti-Semitic statements, their claim is that when she asks why Congress is loyal to AIPAC that she is questioning Jewish people about their dual loyalties, which is ridiculous.

Take your own goddamn blinders off, Ramirez. Trump dog-whistled the anti-Semitic right through out his campaign, including requesting images from a neoNatal feed levelling Clinton as corrupt with a Star-of-David badge. He said many of the same things Ilhan Omar has, and capped his campaign with a antisemitic tropes about Jewish billionaires trying to buy the election. He won’t condemn the creepy rightists saluting " Heil Trump." And he said that the actual Nazis waving swastika flags in the Charlottesville streets, chanting “Jews will not replace us,” included lots of “very fine people.” You’d need blinders, headphones, and especially a face mask to hold back the stench.

Puh-leeze. Does Michael Ramirez really not understand that It is possible to criticize Netanyahu and the harsh policies of Palestinian cruelty that have closer resemblance to Adolf Hitler than David Ben-Gurion or Golda Meir and still support both Israel as an important ally AND justice for Palestinians and respect for their human rights AND recognition that they were there for many centuries before European Jews tried to reclaim land they had not occupied for 1,400 years (in comparison, the Native Americans have only been dispossessed of land they occupied for twenty THOUSAND years less than 400 years ago).

Many Jews, in both the U.S. and Israel, are very critical of Netanyahu and many of the same have been supportive of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s comments.

Many of the same Democrats who have called for a resolution against Congresswoman Omar have never called for a similar resolution condemning the clear racism and anti-semitism of Congressman Steve King.

The final consensus resolution condemning ALL hate speech, whether anti-semitic, Islamophobic, racist, homophobic, whatever, without singling anyone out, was a good compromise.

As @nance19oped CORRECTLY noted, EVERY DEMOCRAT voted to condemn hate of all people, including both Jews and Muslims. 23 RepubliCONs voted in favor of hate. Steve King, already under a microscope, voted “present” like the coward he is — couldn’t bring him self to vote against hate.

GOPists conflate their government with the nation, so natch they attack Omar for talking negatively about how Israel’s government behaves as though she was bad talking Jews. Nuance? That’s some kind of deodorant, right?

Mike as a guy who was brought up Jewish that is not my experience. As a guy who traveled on business (as a customer) to places outside of “big cities” in IA, WI, OH, IN, and TX I would listen to the locals and NEVER tell anyone I was Jewish. It would not have been violent but I would NOT be welcome. Those are your folks Mike. Just as you want to say “But its not all of us” then you get to listen to the Ds say it too.

Once again, I must note that the GOP seems to be more dedicated to holding Dems’ feet to their fire than their own *COUGH*steveking*COUGH*

Knowing the Jews are predominantly Democrats, the Trumpublicans are trying hard to convert them. Someone must be worried about what’s coming in 2020.
