Having coached countless kids basketball games (GA State Champs YMCA 14 under) and if the other team had a biological male on their team I would have never let my girls (or boys had if roles reversed) take the floor. Any grown adult who would allow a young girl to risk injury by a boy who thinks he’s a girl (maybe he does but that doesn’t give him the right to compete w bio girls) is unqualified to have any authority role in charge of children.

Good for you taking an interest in opposing views. Now try reading up on the research and findings from Endocrinologists, the Doctors, and the science from those who actually know about Transgender. Strengths and weaknesses cover the entire gender-identity spectrum, and athletes like the Williams sisters who have repeatedly proven themselves over their male counterparts prove the point. And you should be old enough to remember what happened to Bobby Riggs when he decided his natal manhood was superior to Billie Jean King’s natal vagina. Placing your own bias against others is okay as long as you don’t expect others to take your bigotry as a rule.
Is this really a political debate? Only place I’ve heard about it is from the right complaining about it… quite a bit recently… but haven’t seen any lefties supporting it. I don’t think boys should be allowed to compete against girls… without consent :-). I don’t have a problem with the other way around though. And if a girl has to take hormones which enhance her muscular build… she should compete against boys.
So What is the answer Mike. Each athlete must take a piss test? a blood test? Just the women with a mustache. Lesbian women? Butchy looking women shouldn’t compete? How far down that rat hole do you go before you can’t go any deeper?
