Part of being a great politican is timing. Obama should have stayed in Hawaii a lot longer. Maybe 2 more years.

“Death to mommy government controlling my health” ? As opposed to “insurance companies controlling my health”? Having elderly parents and in-laws on Medicare, I’ll take that any day over the crapshoot I have now.

And good luck repealing health care, which this toon is about. You don’t have the votes in the Senate and the Prez has the veto even if you did, hence IMPOTENT.

The first cut they should make would be to their salary and benefits.

I find it “typical” that my ULTRA-right-wing mother is 98 and dependent on Medicare and Medicaid for keeping her alive and “comfortable”(but certainly not in luxury). Isn’t it interesting how the right “modifies” their view when THEY are the recipients??

So much for “jobs” as a priority. They’re wasting time with pointless gestures of repeal.

Keep government our of medicare???? Isn’t this a “government-backed insurance? Are you saying do away w/ medicare??? I just hope it’s still around when I need it. And, yes, I’ve worked all my life after grad school and saved instead of recless spending. But, me thinks I’ll need this “government assistance” when I reach my “golden years.”
