Reminds me of a scene from the movie, Poltergeist. Where the family pet dies and the Mother puts the pet’s body in a shoe box and buries it in the front yard.
Or you could put the box in the tree…
It’s not a trespass – it’s an homage!
Another gerbil down…
As our small pets pass, I bury them in the excavated spot where the new shop/studio is going. Easier to dig small graves in clay-loam with no gravel.
