In his long-overdue Oscar acceptance speech, Spike Lee said to “do the right thing” but he also clarified to choose courage over fear and love over hate. HE DID NOT MENTION TRUMP BY NAME.
So Trump’s response? He whine about Spike Lee’s “racist hit on your President.”

And seriously? SPIKE LEE DID NOT MENTION TRUMP’S NAME.
It was TRUMP who saw the words “fear” and “hate” and assumed it was about him.
If the shoe fits, wear it. Trump wore it. And it fit.
I don’t believe history will be kind to Trump or his GOP. In 2020 the American people will decide which side of history they want to be on. My hope is that Trump will be tossed onto the scrap heap where he belongs. Trump’s sole purpose in life is to find ways to gratify himself. That’s it. Everything else is just fake news.
Unfortunately he chose the paths of lies, deceit, and corruption and got the ’Cons and enough people to follow him to victory. Why should he change in 2020?
Obviously, after listening to Mr. Lee’s Acceptance Speech and, then, reading Donnie John’s ‘remarkable’ twitter reaction to it; two observations are in order.
The first is that Donnie John has remarkably thin skin, to take ‘offense’ at Spike’s remark.
The second is that SOMEONE (probably his Himmler-copy, Stephen Miller) interpreted Mr. Lee’s comment and reduced it to terms Donnie John could understand! (Trump has trouble comprehending ANYTHING that does not directly REFER him by NAME)
