    @Number Three Today’s strip is mildly funny , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp is not totally useless , he has mastered the art of opening the refrigerator to get a beer :o) right? my avatar today is of Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean welcoming you back and because before I go to bed at 10 pm Connie and I watch Utube episodes of the richest comedian in England on my desk top , how was your day? ours should be calm but busy for my better half Connie , take care pal

    At the end of my senior year in college my best buddy and I were invited to drop in on an elderly (to us) history professor from England we had taken a couple of classes with. We went to his apartment where we met him and his lovely wife, had a nice chat and were asked, “Would you lads care for a beer?” Never ones to turn down a brew we of course said yes, then were somewhat taken aback when he went to a cupboard and proceeded to pour three (one for him, of course) room temperature beers. Cold beer is a rather recent development on the other side of the pond. My wife has relatives in England and even in the late 1970’s on my first trip there some of the smaller rural pubs served beer from the tap that at best could be described as slightly below room temperature. Andy and Flo must have all the “modern conveniences”.

    I don’t like beer at all but I LOVE ice cold drinks. Even in Winter.

    The colder the better.

    @Afficionado

    Rowan Atkinson is a true legend that’s for sure. He barely talks when playing Mr Bean but is still hilariously funny.

    I managed to donate blood on Wednesday. Whoo hoo! I keep forgetting to ask the nurse how long I took.

    Here is a photo of me in the donation chair. Warning: You can see the needle in my arm.

    Already booked my next appointment for 9th July.
