We had a cat for 16 years. I finally realized he had different “meows” for different things. Just to call attention, he said something like “aaaah.” If he wanted out, it was more like “ouuu.” But when he was in the kitchen, asking my wife to feed him, it sounded like “Moooommmm.”
Cats are telepathic. They use oral commands with kittens while they are learning and, of course, humans are not smart enough to understand telepathic commands. ;-)
Not true! I looked out of our front window one day when my cat was meowing up s storm. What did I see, two other cats outside! No my cat is not a kitten, she’s 6 years old.
The first Egyptian to ask a cat its name was answered with “Meow” and so the ancient word for cat was Meow (true); since then centuries/millennia have passed and cats are still wondering why humans are so impolite…

Adult cats don’t meow to each other because Meow means Feed Me.

That about the cats is a myth. We’ve got four adult cats and they routinely meow at one another. I thought only Wikipedia published myths.

Most Australian Aborigines are also left handed… It must be something in the water.

The only important part of the ‘word’ is ME…the rest is just their accent.

I love the certainty of that one fact: “Some” kangaroo species are “almost” always left-handed…. What?

How do they know that about the kangaroos? Do they have them throw a ball or writer their name?

My cat used to defecate in the house if he was mad at me.
